The Journey Therapy provides integrative therapeutic care through individual psychotherapy, family, couples, and intensive outpatient services. We offer in person and online services.

Welcome

If you’ve found your way here, you may be feeling unsure of what you need, what kind of support would help, or even how to put into words what you’re experiencing. That’s okay. Many people begin therapy not with clear answers, but with a sense that something isn’t working anymore or that something within them is asking for care, understanding, or change.

At The Journey Therapy, you don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. We meet you where you are, honoring your pace, your story, and the wisdom of your lived experience. Our integrative approach offers a supportive space to make sense of what you’re carrying, develop practical tools for change, and reconnect with a deeper sense of stability, clarity, and self-trust.

Whether you’re seeking individual therapy, group support, or a more structured level of care, you are welcome here exactly as you are. This is a place to pause, to be understood, and to begin—one step at a time.

Our Approach

You may know the feeling, something doesn’t feel right in your body or your life, but you can’t quite explain why. You sense it, carry it, live with it… yet the words don’t come.

My work is about helping those unspoken experiences make sense. Together, we slow things down and begin to connect what you feel with understanding, language, and insight. Patterns become visible. Reactions start to make sense. What once felt confusing often clicks into clarity.

Clients frequently describe moments of recognition—“That’s it. That’s what I’ve been feeling.” These moments aren’t intellectual alone; they’re felt. And when things make sense at that level, change becomes possible.

You can expect a grounded, collaborative process that helps you understand yourself more deeply, trust your inner experience, and move forward with greater clarity and ease.

Areas of Focus

I specialize in working with eating disorders, body image concerns, and challenges related to self-esteem and self-worth. Much of my work also centers on attachment, relationships, and family dynamics—helping individuals understand how early experiences and relational patterns shape the way they see themselves and connect with others.

I support both women and men in exploring developmental and childhood experiences, including patterns and stories that may have been passed down through families and relationships. Often, what feels confusing or self-critical in the present begins to make sense when placed within the context of one’s history, family system, and lived experiences.

This work frequently includes understanding relational wounds, identity formation, and long-standing patterns that show up through food and body struggles, relationships, emotional regulation, or a persistent sense of feeling stuck or disconnected. Through a thoughtful, integrative approach, clients gain clarity, self-compassion, and a deeper understanding of their own story, allowing for meaningful and lasting change!
