Group Therapy
Group therapy offers something uniquely powerful: the chance to heal in connection with others while learning more about yourself in real time. Being in a group can lessen the sense of isolation so many people carry—reminding you that you’re not alone, and that others can relate in ways that feel grounding and deeply validating.
Beyond support, group therapy is also a place to practice. Within the safety of the group, you can notice thoughts, emotions, and patterns as they arise—such as holding back, people-pleasing, difficulty expressing needs, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions. With guidance and care, the group becomes a space to experiment with being more assertive, allowing yourself to be seen and heard, tolerating discomfort, and responding differently than you may have in the past.
We offer a variety of groups to support this process. Nutrition groups provide education, structure, and support around rebuilding a healthier relationship with food. DBT skills groups focus on learning and strengthening ways to cope with distress, regulate emotions, and interact more effectively and authentically in relationships. Experiential and somatic, body-based groups invite you to connect with your internal experience in a deeper way—helping you build awareness, safety, and trust in your body rather than staying only in your head.
Together, these groups offer opportunities not just to talk about change, but to experience it. Over time, what is practiced and understood in group therapy begins to integrate into daily life, supporting more sustainable and meaningful shifts in how you relate to yourself and others.
