IOP
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is built on the well-established evidence that group therapy is a powerful driver of eating disorder recovery. In a supportive, therapist-led group setting, clients benefit from shared insight, accountability, and the healing impact of connection—knowing they are not alone while learning from others at different stages of recovery. Group work reinforces skills, challenges eating disorder thinking in real time, and helps normalize the recovery process in ways that individual work alone often can’t.
At the same time, this IOP is designed to fit into real life. Clients are able to continue working, attending school, maintaining relationships, and engaging in everyday responsibilities while receiving consistent, meaningful support. The program emphasizes practicing skills in the real world and then bringing those experiences back to the group to process, refine, and reinforce what works. This bridge between treatment and daily life helps recovery skills become integrated and sustainable—replacing behaviors that haven’t worked with new, effective ways of coping, relating, and caring for oneself
